Tasting notes
One of the firmer, more reserved wines in the range when I tasted it was the 2018 Vosne-Romanée Aux Champs Perdrix, a medium to full-bodied, lively wine, evocative of wild berries, spices and peonies. This was hard to read but will reveal itself with further élevage.

The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Aux Champs Perdrix, the smallest cuvée from the domaine, is made with 100% whole bunch and bottled only in magnums. It sports a pretty nose of chalk-tinged red berry fruit. The medium-bodied palate is lightly peppery on the opening, and you can really feel the stem addition here. The slightly herbal finish feels a little short.
