Tasting notes
Deepish cherry red. Smells riper and richer than the Bourgogne and with intense and seductive red fruit, subtly floral and so open. Not especially long but delicious in its fragrant and open Chambolle character.

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village is a blend of 11 parcels and aged in 20% new oak. It offers pretty blueberry and raspberry aromas on the nose, which is quite understated in the context of the vintage. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry with supple tannins and good acidity, though perhaps the finish is just missing a little flair and complexity. Drink over the next decade.
