Tasting notes
The 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village is showing nicely, offering up aromas of sweet berry fruit and plums mingled with hints of raw cocoa and warm spices. Medium-bodied, fleshy and charming, with powdery tannins, moderate depth at the core and ripe acids, it will drink well young.

The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Village is a cuvée I tasted last year, when I remarked that it seemed a little monotone. Twelve months later, I see no reason to change that view, although the aromatics have opened a little and gained some complexity.
Mid cherry red. Lifted, scented and inviting. So fragrant. Dry, peppery, more savoury on the palate. Lovey freshness and purity. Open but should age very well. Moreish, harmonious. (JH)
The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Village, which was already bottled and comes from several different plots in the south of the appellation, offers pretty red cherry, crushed strawberry and bergamot scents. The palate is sweet and fleshy on the entry with fine acidity, and the slightly monotone finish needs more complexity.
