Deep crimson. Light fruity nose. A bit sour and a bit too sturdy for my taste. Tough stuff! (JR)

The 2014 Bourgogne Rouge has a very concentrated nose considering that this is just a generic Burgundy: dense black cherries and blueberry fruit. The palate is high-toned and quite lush in the mouth, kirsch and cassis fruit married with good acidity, though it just lacks a little tension on the finish. Still, if you want a gutsy Bourgogne Rouge, this is where to come.
