The 2018 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru, aged for 15 months on the lees, has a generous nose of dried honey and pressed yellow flower scents, and just a touch of nutmeg in the background. The palate is well balanced with a peachy opening, slightly lower in acidity than its peers. The straightforward, quite honeyed finish will have wide appeal, even if it is lacking tension and race.
