Tasting notes
The 2016 Eneo is a dark, sumptuous beauty. Black cherry, plum, lavender, spice, menthol and licorice infuse the 2016 with striking depth as well as tons of textural resonance. Rich and expansive on the palate, the 2016 builds effortlessly through to its layered, super-expressive finish. This is such a gorgeous, alluring wine, especially for the money.

I love the purity of fruit and the freshness to the brambleberries, blueberries, undergrowth and freshly cut herbs. The texture is very fine with grainy tannins, bright, driving acidity and a medium chewy finish. A blend of montepulciano, sangiovese, alicante, and malvasia nera. Drink now.
The 2016 Eneo is a flat-out stunner. I don't remember ever tasting an Eneo with this much freshness. Powerful and yet also incredibly nuanced, the 2016 is all class. An exotic mélange of black cherry, smoke, licorice, game, tobacco and incense infuse this beautifully nuanced Suvereto red. Time in the glass brings out the wine's aromatics and a red-toned/floral component that distinguishes it from the other 2016s in this range, all of which are considerably darker. More than anything else, the 2016 has a soaring vertical explosiveness that is simply breathtaking.
