Score 88/100 · Drink 2019-2020, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Feb 2019

The 2018 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a plump, medium-bodied wine. On the nose, it combines aspects of the Awatere and Wairau Valleys in its juxtaposition of leafy notes of tomato and nettle with riper notes of guava and nectarine. One wishes for a bit more depth and intensity, but this is a solid effort.
