Walnut colour. Sweet like oranges but really past it as a Pinot Noir despite the quite nice flavours of bitter orange! (JH)

A touch of volatile acidity is noticeable in this offering, but it is not off-putting. The dark plum/purple color is accompanied by autumnal/foresty floor aromas. There is plenty of concentration, but the wine is slightly disjointed as well as stemmy. As it sits in the glass, more vegetal characteristics emerge. My instincts suggest this Pinot Noir is on the verge of cracking up.
