Tasting notes
The 2017 Saint-Aubin Clos de Meix, from Olivier Lamy’s 0.70 hectare plot, has a taut, granitic bouquet that will need time in bottle. The palate is generous on the entry with orange pith and light Conference pear notes, quite saline in the mouth with a bright finish. Enjoy this over the next 10 years. Very fine.

This rocky, southeasterly exposed site has produced a wine for purists in the 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos du Meix, a tensile wine that offers up aromas of lime, tart green orchard fruit and white flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a firm, tight-knit core, tangy acids and chewy extract.
