Score 84-86/100 · Drink 2020-2025, Neal Martin, Jan 2019
The 2017 Bourgogne Rouge underwent a late malolactic and was racked three weeks prior to my visit. It is completely de-stemmed. The nose is a little reduced, very confit in style with macerated small black cherries and bilberry jam. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry, quite racy in terms of acidity with a bright sappy, slightly figgy finish.
