Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2026, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2018
The 2016 Chablis Village is simultaneously purer and more exotic than the Petit Chablis that preceded it, bursting with aromas of musky peach, ripe apples and flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and textural, with a glossy attack but good underlying acidity. Like many 2016s, it will drink well in the near term.

Lovely edge to this on the nose. Really draws you in as though it will satisfy any thirst. Pure, unadorned, without great depth and already approachable. Great transparent aperitif. (JR)
