Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2021-2035, Neal Martin, Jan 2019
The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas has a slightly purer and more sophisticated bouquet than the Les Chalandins, the 40% new oak neatly assimilated here. The palate is well balanced with smooth tannin, blood orange and a tang of marmalade infusing the red fruit. The plush, quite forward finish feels very generous.
