Exotic, high-toned aromas of honey, marzipan and flowers. Sweet and broad but youthfully closed, with notes of apple and honey. A fairly rich style of Meursault that mounts nicely on the back half and finishes strong.

The 2002 Meursault Poruzots has a profound, mouth-watering nose of almonds and hazelnut butter. Medium-bodied, thick, and plush, this fat, broad, spicy wine is packed with buttered pears, nutmeg, and cloves. Anticipated maturity: now-2010.
