Tasting notes
The 2018 Domaine de Cambes has a very perfumed and quite floral bouquet of violet-infused black cherries and boysenberry fruit. The aromas seem to envelop the senses. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of bitter cherry on the entry, and overtly spicy with cracked black pepper and sage toward the finish. This Bordeaux AC from the Mitjavile family deserves 12–18 months to fully coalesce.

A classic wine from Francois Mitjavile with its exotic, smoky, sexy style, the 2018 Domaine De Cambes offers a killer nose of blueberries, black raspberries, vanilla bean, crème caramel, and candied flowers. It's ripe, full-bodied, and straight-up sumptuous, with sweet tannins and wonderful depth of fruit. It's a rock star of a wine that blew me away. Enjoy bottles over the coming 10-15 years.
The 2018 Domaine des Cambes is fabulous. Inky dark red fruit, chocolate, mocha, spice, new leather and menthol hit the palate. Succulent and so alluring, Domaine de Cambes has so much to offer. Plush fruit and silky contours build into the deep, resonant finish. All the elements are so impeccably balanced.
