Score 89/100 · Drink 2020-2030, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Nov 2019
The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Village opens in the glass with a youthfully reticent bouquet of buttered yellow orchard fruit, pears and fresh pastry. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a gourmand, open-knit profile, ripe acids and a saline finish. This is quite a ripe, generous and front-loaded rendition of Morey's Chassagne AOC, and while it needs a bit of time to bounce back from bottling, it will drink well with minimal cellaring.
