This is the only Gold Cap Auslese from this vintage so far on the market. Dense and very complex dried fruits bouquet spanning the entire spectrum from peach and mango to some fig, plus a slew of candied citrus notes. Super-concentrated and super-refined, the finish following a graceful curve that extends in the direction of infinity.

The 2015 Scharzhofberger Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule (Auction) AP #12 is super clear, fine and precise on the nose, where fine botrytis and slate flavors are displayed; these flavors give a great purity, finesse and elegance, as well as a subversive complexity. Full, rich, round, perfectly elegant and balanced, this is a legendary Auslese with a seamless texture. It has the purest peach, mango and honey flavors in its endless and delicate finish. There are also orange and citrus tea flavors in the endless aftertaste. Auslese in perfection!
