Wafting from the glass with a generous bouquet of ripe orchard fruit, marzipan and buttery pastry, the 2017 Meursault Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with ripe acids and a generous core of fruit, enlivened by the presence of notable dissolved carbon dioxide. This is quite a fat, old-fashioned Meursault and will be best drunk young.
