Score 91/100 · Drink 2018-2028, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2019
From bottle, Clerget's debut 2016 Meursault Les Chevalières is showing very well, offering up aromas of pastry cream, crisp yellow orchard fruit, ripe citrus and a subtle framing of new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and ample, with good concentration, tangy acids and a long, vibrant finish.

The 2016 Meursault Les Chevalieres is soft, supple and easygoing, all qualities that will make it easy to drink young. Orchard fruit, pear and white flowers add lovely complexity throughout. I tasted the 2016 from tank, after fining. There is a very strong likelihood the Chevalieres will show even better from bottle. - Antonio Galloni
