Tasting notes
Very cool and fresh and well composed. Certainly stands up to bordeaux at the same price. Silky texture and long. Super-fresh fruit. Complete and complex. (JR)

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon the Ranch is blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This is a beauty with soft tannin giving it a silky, voluptuous texture. It possesses a dark ruby/purple color, plenty of black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit with tobacco leaf and unsmoked high-quality cigar tobacco. The overall impression is one of elegance, yet intensity. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon The Ranch is another gorgeous wine from Snowden. Dark, racy and expressive, the 2014 boasts lovely depth and polish. Dark cherry, plum, spice, mocha and leather are all pushed forward. Gracious and medium in body, with fabulous balance, the 2014 has it all. Best of all, The Ranch is one of the best values readers will find in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Don't miss it!
