Proprietor Darioush, who is Persian, obviously would be expected to give a nod to Shiraz, and the 2014 Shiraz looks excellent, with ripe blackberry and cassis fruit, a dense color as well as peppery, meaty aromas, and attractive, soft, medium-bodied flavors. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
