99% Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, 1% Muscat d`Alexandria. TA 5 g/l, pH 3.62, RS 365 g/l. Smells incredibly fresh, like blackcurrant blossom, cherry blossom! Massively, massively sweet. Eye-wateringly sweet. It brought out a dew of sweat on my top lip. Rose petals, lavender, molasses, thick old honey, molten toffee. Almost too sweet to get your head around. When to drink this? By the teaspoon? (TC)

Just wonderful complexity and depth here. This is a fortified wine, blended from very old material and shows a mustard-tinged edge in the glass. Toffee and sweet, old-woody aromas, as well as raisin and orange peel, malt and creme caramel. The palate is so intense, so concentrated and so richly flavored. Sweet, long and ultimately fresh dried-plum and toffee flavors here. Drink now. Screw cap.
RS 365 g/l. Nutty brown colour. Coffee and roasted nuts on the nose. Thick and viscous, rich and more spice on the finish but that lovely roasted character provides freshness so that it strangely seems less sweet than the Classic. (JH)
Brown Muscat. RS 398 g/l, TA 5 g/l, pH 3.62. Wines released under this label are consistent show winners, we were told. Rich brownish fox red. Very sweet, ripe nose. Massively sweet. Satin texture even if a little grainy on the (slightly hot) finish. The concentration is starting to impose itself. I think this is definitely ready to drink. (JR)
