Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 Chambolle Musigny 1Er Cru les Charmes, which contains no more than 20% whole bunch, offers raspberry and strawberry pastilles on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively, quite linear and not deep, with some attenuation toward the bony finish. Hopefully this will flesh out with time but at the moment I feel cautious. The Derrière La Grange cuvée showed much better.
