Score 89/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate
In contrast to the Vieilles Vignes bottling, the 2016 Mercurey Chapitre derives from soils that are richer in limestone, and the ensuing wine is higher-toned and brighter, offering up aromas of red berries. On the palate, it's medium-bodied and finer-boned, with bright acids, chalky tannins and a crunchy core of fruit. Jul 2018, www.robertparker.com
