Tasting notes
The 2015 Côtes Catalanes Green Eggs And Vin is an old vine field blend and is always a unique, singular, incredibly complex wine. Incense, dried flowers, exotic spice, red currants, and mulberry notes all flow to a medium-bodied, graceful, elegant red that has terrific freshness and purity as well as intensity. It’s another beautiful vintage for this cuvée, which always leans more toward the fresh, elegant side of the spectrum.

A single-vineyard cuvee (mostly Grenache and Carignan, but includes 30% white grape varieties) that's from a cooler, north-facing slope, the 2015 IGP Cotes Catalanes Green Eggs and Vin was picked at the start of September and is brought up in older barrels. It's a singular 2015 that offers gorgeous notes of plums, violets, cherries and exotic spices. Medium-bodied, silky and elegant on the palate, it shines for its purity and finesse, yet doesn't lack for texture or length, and has good concentration. It's a beautiful wine that will keep for at least 6-7 years.
