The 2013 Tokaji Nyulászó 6-Puttonyos has a more floral bouquet than the Blue or Gold Label, almost Chenin Blanc–like, with hints of wet wool filtering through the scents of dried honey and walnut. The palate is fresh and lively on the entry, viscous and slightly creamy in texture, and the acidity is well judged. The slightly conservative finish should develop personality with age. Very fine. Tasted at the Royal Tokaji Company tasting in London.

RS 172.2 g/l, TA 7.8 g/l. First growth. Floral, toffee and white chocolate at first, then a divine intensity on the mid palate that shows the quality of the site. So very expressive and intense, another level of flavour experience. Unforgettable. (RH)
