Score 88/100 · Drink 2015-2018, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jun 2015

The 1995 Langhe Arborina is perhaps a touch better balanced than the Barolo Arborina, with slightly more floral overtones to match the red-fleshed fruit. The Langhe is a bit silkier and polished than the Barolo, but the flavors are a touch forward. Dried cherries, crushed flowers and mint linger on the finish. Here, too, readers will want to give strong consideration to finishing any remaining bottles sooner rather than later.
