Score 16/20 · Drink 2025-2035, Jancis Robinson MW, Jan 2018

Nine barrels made from a pair of contiguous plots. Bright crimson. Emphatic fruit impact on the front palate but still quite inky and ungenerous on the end. Lots of acidity. Still a little mean, it cuts off a bit suddenly, but it should all settle down eventually. It’s certainly clean and sharp. (JR)
