Tasting notes
The 2017 Couhins-Lurton Blanc is laced with bright citrus peel, orchard fruit and floral notes. A white of steely tension and energy, the 2017 also has terrific fruit depth and resonance to play off its natural vibrancy. There is plenty to like.

The white 2017 Chateau Couhins-Lurton Blanc from this estate is a head-turner, offering stunning balance and elegance as well as clean citrus and melon fruits interwoven with lots of floral and green herbs notes. It’s concentrated, medium-bodied, and does everything right. I’d drink bottles over the coming 3-5 years, but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see it evolve for longer.
The 2017 Couhins-Lurton Blanc is laced with attractive scents of candied lemon peel, white orchard fruit and flowers. Creamy and inviting, the 2017 opens up nicely in the glass, showing terrific freshness and energy. I very much like the sense of vibrancy here.
The Couhins-Lurton 2017 Blanc opens with aromas of apples, pears and peaches with a touch of baking bread. The medium-bodied palate is zesty with plenty of pear and stone fruits flavors in the mouth, finishing long.
