2015 Colli Orientali Chardonnay Ronco Basso

The 2015 Chardonnay Ronco Basso is richer and creamier than the Sol, but not necessarily more complex, but rather a wine that shows a different side of the estate. Ripe orchard fruit, mint, wild flowers and sweet spices build into the generous, inviting finish. As with the Sol, there is a good bit of freshness, the warm vintage notwithstanding. The Ronco Basso emerges from the estate younger Chardonnay vines.
