East part of the valley on slate/schist. Pale crimson. Meaty nose, very Grenache. Ready and round and rich. Some savoury, black-olive notes with rich undertow. Long and fans out on the end. Very impressive. Quite different in character from 2013. (JR)

From Cebreros. Much sweeter red fruit in evidence here than on the Uvas de la Ira. Sweet cherry cut through by savoury, stony tannins and texture. Bone dry and very tightly furled. Needs decanting as it is currently in the stranglehold of youth. (JH)

Single vineyard on red slate, red clay and quartz, at 950 metres. 1 ha and 1,500 bottles. Smells much sweeter than the two previous wines (Daniel Landi’s Cantos del Diablo 2012 and Las Uvas de la Ira 2013), more dried fruit and leather – but thyme too. Completely different – much broader in the mouth and sweeter and seems more developed and complex, though not necessarily greater pleasure. Texture is thicker and the structure much broader. Fresh but not quite the same refreshing finish as the Cantos del Diablo. (JH)
