Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2021, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Sep 2018
Produced from young vines and briefly matured in wood with neither the addition of sulfur dioxide nor filtration, the 2017 Beaujolais-Villages Tentation reveals notes of cherries, raspberries and spring flowers. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, youthfully chewy and heady, without the same degree of harmoniousness and integration that’s found in the Beaujolais-Villages Vieilles Vignes.
