Tasting notes
All Cabernet Sauvignon from their estate vineyard, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon sports a deep, inky color to go with a terrific bouquet of black currants, scorched earth, licorice, and chocolate. Full-bodied, rich, opulent and concentrated, with a great mid-palate and tons of fruit. It's a smoking good Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the coming to decades.

This blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot is deep, rich, concentrated and authoritative. Dense ruby/purple-colored, with crème de cassis and blacker fruits, some licorice and incense, it is full-bodied, beautifully pure, with sweet tannin and a long, layered finish. This is high-brow, impressive Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 15-20 years.
Levensohn's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is powerful, deep and sensual, with all the intensity and radiance that is typical of Cabernets from this sector in St. Helena. The 2014 will appeal most to readers who like flamboyant, rich wines. Black cherry jam, mocha, espresso, menthol and licorice are fused into the huge finish. The 2014 is not a shy wine by any means, but it is very nicely done and absolutely delicious.
