This blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot is deep, rich, concentrated and authoritative. Dense ruby/purple-colored, with creme de cassis and blacker fruits, some licorice and incense, it is full-bodied, beautifully pure, with sweet tannin and a long, layered finish. About the producer
Levensohn Vineyards
Owned by Pascal and Melanie Levensohn, the estate was established in 2000. This small, 3.5-acre vineyard site was completely replanted in 2001 with Cabernet Sauvignon following a phylloxera outbreak. The first vintage was produced in 2004.
