Tasting notes
The 2016 Bouzeron has an intense bouquet with enticing scents of honeysuckle and jasmine. The palate is fresh on the entry and conveys a convincing sense of energy, a touch of salinity towards the finish with judicious hints of stem ginger and a hint of rhubarb. Very fine.

The 2016 Bouzeron exhibits a pretty bouquet of honeyed apples and spring flowers, followed by a medium-bodied, bright palate that's pure and precise. I suspect it will put on weight with a year or two in bottle. It's dependably long lived, so don't be afraid to follow bottles for a decade.
Aligoté. Organic. Bottled. I love the piercing citrus freshness here. Something of the crispness of a pine forest. Super-pure and cloaked in a creamy texture. Crisp and long. Good as an aperitif or at the table. (JH)
