Screwcap, much to our surprise! Tasting it blind, we'd thought it was the cork-sealed wine. More expressive and evolved. Modern idiom and fresh. (JR)

Pale ruby colored, the 2012 Pinot noir has beautiful aromas of kirsch, red currant jelly and warm cranberries with hints of potpourri, lavender and cinnamon. Medium-bodied, it displays great elegance and intensity with a slight herbal / stemmy edge to the long finish.

Just over 4k bottles produced. 18 months in French barriques, of which 25% new. Pale ruby. Earthy nose. Sweet and gentle on the palate. With just a little fine tannin on the finish. A tad sweeter than most burgundy but hugely attractive.Serve cool! Transparent and fresh. (JR)
