Tasting notes
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro is one of the more sumptuous wines in this range. Dark red and purplish fruit make a strong first impression. Even with all of its intensity, the 2014 is silky and polished enough to drink with just a few years of cellaring. Chocolate, torrefaction and dark spice wrap around the super-ripe finish.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro comes from a Pritchard Hill Vineyard planted with Cabernet Sauvignon clones 4 and 7. This is a wine of similar power, richness and texture, but displays slightly more minerality, maybe a slighter cooler climate mouthfeel, but that’s splitting hairs. It is a wine of exceptional intensity, low acidity, ripe tannin, and a long finish, with plenty of blackberry, charcoal and white chocolate notes. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
