Tasting notes
The 2006 Oratorio di San Lorenzo (Carmenere) is a beautiful wine laced with blackberries, tar, grilled herbs, French oak and graphite, all of which come to life on a refined, mid-weight frame. With time in the glass the fruit fleshes out nicely. Hints of juniper berries, herbs and crushed flowers add complexity on the long, delineated finish.
