Score 90/100 · Drink 2021-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Apr 2021

The 2005 Haut-Breton Larigaudière is a very pleasant surprise. Although the 2005 won't set the world on fire, it has aged very nicely. Sweet floral notes red berry fruit, spice and cedar are all beautifully lifted in this lithe, mid-weight Margaux. A kick of bright acids punctuates the finish. The 2005 is a bit rustic and tight, but it has held up well.
