Score 92/100 · Drink 2017-2028, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015
Aged in two- and three-year-old barrels, the 2013 Bürgel Spätburgunder GG has a clear and precise, slightly raw and meaty bouquet with floral aromas. Very elegant on the pure and silky textured palate, with very fine tannins and a gorgeous freshness, this is an intensely fruity, cassis-flavored Pinot Noir with a coolish finesse and tension. Highly recommended.
