Tasting notes
Good medium bright red. Reduced, youthfully stunted aromas of redcurrant, leather and tobacco. Supple and tactile, with harmonious acidity giving shape to the sweet red berry, dried flower and menthol flavors. Finishes with sweet tannins, good length and a slight edge of acidity, the dried flower component providing lift.

The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino flows from the glass with sweet dark cherries, kirsch, tobacco, flowers and leather. The 2007 possesses lovely inner perfume and a level of finesse I have seldom found in Palazzo's wines. This remains a firm, structured style of Brunello, but all of the elements are in harmony. Ripe, silky tannins frame the finish. The 2007 was aged 36 months in cask.
