2014 Pesquera Crianza

Deep ruby-red. Aromas of ripe red and dark fruits and pungent flowers; vanilla and pipe tobacco accents emerge with aeration. Juicy and appealingly sweet, offering spice-tinged blackberry and cherry-vanilla flavors and subtle licorice and succulent herb nuances. Finishes supple, sweet and long, with a hint of musky earth and slow-building tannins that meld smoothly with the wine's juicy fruit. Aged for 18 months in neutral French oak barrels.
