Tasting notes
From old vines planted in 1959 & 1960. Clean and clear in the glass with a hint of green. Intensely mineral on the nose, very driven and impactful. Sensational on the palate; sweet fruit with exceptional energy and a backbone of minerality that acts like a lightning rod. Perfect balance with a finely-tuned, nervy acidity. Long on the finish, finely sustained and excellent.

Full, bright yellow. Pure but reticent aromas of white peach, spices and spring flowers. Pristine and intensely flavored but more imploded than the Chalumeaux, conveying a tight grain and noteworthy inner-mouth lift to its bracing citrus and white peach flavors. The slowly building whiplash of a finish is wonderfully suave and seamless, with high notes of mint and wild herbs giving the wine a perfumed quality.
