2015 Hautes Cotes de Nuits le Mont

The 2015 Hautes Côtes de Nuits Rouge came from a tank sample. It has a slightly rustic nose, although I think that is just imparted by the 100% whole bunch fruit, good vigor with touches of undergrowth coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp, crunchy tannin, red berry fruit mixed with dried herbs leading to a slightly hard finish that will hopefully soften by the time of bottling.
