Tasting notes
Expands through the palate, and it is quite simply delicious. Batton down for waves of flavour, from lemon soufflé laced with sage and fennel, to candied pineapple, crushed rocks, liqourice root, oyster shell, and a pure shot of citrus puree on the finish. The Grand Cuvée is a recent initiative for Terlano to be recognised beyond its stunning older wines, and focuses on precision terroir selection, with a 3,600 bottles production. On this showing, it's an exceptional addition to the range. Rudi Kofler winemaker, whole cluster pressing, malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees for 12 months in large wooden casks.

A wine with delicious fruit with dried pear and pineapple aromas and flavors. Full body, dense and flavorful. Big and rich wine that remains fresh and agile. Bitter lemon. undertone. One of the top wines of Alto Adige. Blended white. Drink now.
The Cantina Terlano 2013 Alto Adige Terlaner I Grande Cuvée is a quest for white wine perfection. The blend is 90% Pinot Bianco with 7% Chardonnay and 3% Sauvignon Blanc. It is fermented in large oak casks and then ages on the lees in oak for one year. This elaborate approach has shaped a fine and elegant bouquet with seamless integration. Stone fruit, citrus, toasted almond and Golden Delicious apple find impeccable balance. The wine boasts a creamy and rich textural personality. Cantina Terlano has a proven track record in terms of the aging potential of its excellent Pinot Bianco-based wines.
