Tasting notes
Deep garnet. Minty blackcurrant aroma is clear but surprisingly subtle and the subtlety is increased by the beautifully fine tannin texture and a top note of crushed herbs. Still a little chewy on the finish though it’s already harmonious. A baby. GV (JH)

Bright violet color. Spicy blackberry and boysenberry aromas are complicated by suggestions of black pepper, cedary oak and smoky minerals. Fresh dark berry and bitter cherry flavors are sweetened by suggestions of vanilla and mocha. Delivers plenty of upfront fruity appeal, with silky tannins adding shape and closing grip to the very long, sappy finish.
Medium deep garnet-purple in color, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Blocks Road presents classis cassis, cloves and menthol aromas accented by eucalyptus, lavender and chocolate. Medium-bodied, fine and tightly-knit, the palate has a nice freshness, fine tannins and a well-poised finish.
