Score 96/100 · Drink 2015-2040, Robert Parker, Dec 2012
The 2010 Cornas Cuvee Jana (which comes primarily from the Chaillots vineyard) is outrageously delicious. Explosive notes of blackberries, gun flint and acacia flowers are followed by a heady, full-throttle, dense, skyscraper-like Cornas. Massive concentration, considerable tannins, abundant extract, but no hard edges result in a wine with exceptional potential. Forget it for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 25+ years. These are both impressive vintages from this up-and-coming young Cornas producer. Importer: Kysela Pere et Fils, Warrenton, VA; tel. (540) 722-9228
