2016 Monster Block Pinot Noir

I loved the nose of the 2016 Ritual Monster Block, a Pinot Noir sourced from a specific plot in Casablanca on soils rich in mica and quartz. They used 30% full clusters for the fermentation, and the wine aged in 22% new French oak barrels. It's austere and subtle with moderate, balanced ripeness. 3,000 bottles were filled in May 2017.
