Score 86/100 · Drink 2017-2023, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017

Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting, the 2014 Meursault 1er Cru Goutte d'Or from Alain Coche-Bizouard offers conspicuous tropical scents of guava and passion fruit, very New World in style. The palate is very ripe and generous with that tropical theme continuing—a Meursault with commercial appeal but little typicité. I must admit, I was expecting more here.
