Perfumed and expressive, lots of polish and shine on the palate. Floral, generous, typical. (RH)

The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Saint Jean has a very perfumed bouquet with touches of peach and Clementine, all nicely defined and generous. The palate is detailed on the entry with touches of hazelnut and orange zest, well balanced with a slight creaminess in texture towards the finish. This is a satisfying Chassagne-Montrachet in the making.
