Score 90/100 · Drink 2024-2034, Neal Martin

The 2015 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru was aged in 50% new oak. Well-defined scents of mulberry and strawberry emerge on the nose, with candied orange peel and tangerine emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet, Grenache-like entry. This is a little heady, maybe, and perhaps it feels a little too sweet on the finish. Nonetheless, there is plenty of enjoyment to be found here.
