Tasting notes
Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting in Beaune, the 2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées had a slight reduction on the nose, though I remarked upon decent iron-tinged red fruit that is slightly suppressed. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely supple entry, much brighter and more vivid than the nose with quite an elegant landing on the finish. Give this 2-3 years for the aromatics to sort themselves out and you should have a marvellous Chambolle Fuées on your hands. Tasted September 2016.
